A Vodka Press is a super simple but refreshing cocktail that you will love. Made with just three ingredients this is a fantastic easy drink recipe.
You know how much I love a vodka soda. They are light and refreshing and easy on the calories. If that sounds delicious to you but you need a little sweetness in your drinks, you must try my vodka press.
Vodka Press Ingredients
Just three simple ingredients come together to create a light and refreshing vodka press, perfect for a casual gathering or a relaxing evening. Be sure to reference the recipe card at the bottom of the post for the measurements and perfect ratio of ingredients.
- Vodka: Since this is a vodka-forward drink, the better the vodka, the better your cocktail will be. I share some vodka recommendations below. Brands like Grey Goose, Tito’s, or Belvedere are good options.
- Lemon-lime soda: Sprite or 7Up contributes a touch of sweetness and citrus flavor. Be sure to use fresh soda for optimal bubbles and fizz.
- Club soda: Adds a refreshing, bubbly component to the drink. It dilutes the vodka slightly and provides a crisp finish without adding any sweetness. I always keep those small bottles of club soda in my pantry. They are perfect for cocktails and always having fresh club soda on hand!
How to Make a Vodka Press
Here is a brief overview of how this cocktail comes together. For the full recipe including all measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add the ingredients. Pour in the vodka. Top with the soda and club soda.
- Garnish and enjoy. Give the drink a gentle stir and garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
Serving Suggestions
Serve your vodka press drink in a glass tumbler, like a rocks glass, with lots of ice. A lime wedge makes the perfect garnish and can be squeezed into the cocktail for an extra citrus punch.
