This Strawberry Fluff Dip is your favorite picnic salad in dessert dip form! With only five ingredients, you can whip this up in just a few minutes!

Last night one of my kiddos was reading me a book, “My Working Mom.” (Eeeek, right?)

And in the book, the kid says, “Sometimes I think my mom loves her work more than me.” Her mom’s a witch and can turn people into frogs, so honestly, kid? Who wouldn’t love that?

Anyway.

I hesitantly turned to kiddo and said, “Do you ever feel that way?”

And kiddo turns to me and says, “No! I mean, you love your work for sure, but you love us too!”

You guys, it felt like the biggest win of all wins. All working moms out there (a redundancy if there ever was one) are cheering with me.

So, I decided to make a super easy recipe – because it is true, I love my work, but I also love making things easy for you and me both. You know those fluff recipes out there? They are full of Cool Whip, fruit and other goodness that turn them into a fun summer picnic side. Well this recipe is just like that but with the addition of cream cheese, turning it into a super fun dip!

WHAT IS IN STRAWBERRY FLUFF DIP?

  • Cool Whip  I am going to get people telling me they will use real whipped cream. Go nuts. However. It won’t hold up sitting out the same way cool whip does. Consider making your own cool whip.
  • Cream Cheese  Make sure you have it at room temperature for easy blending.
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Strawberry Jello Mix You just want to use a little of the dry mix, you aren’t making the actual jell-o.
  • Vanilla Extract

Can you believe how simple that is??

Dessert dips are my favorite addition to parties. They usually are so super simple to make, require no fancy ingredients, and they are always a hit! As I am sitting here writing this post I’m literally coming up with dozens of dessert dips to make for you guys. Hmmm . . . . a third blog solely dedicated to dip?? Just kidding.

  4. Ellen says

I may try this as a filling for cake. Will it make the cake soggy?

    • Lisa Longley says

It’s pretty light and fluffy. I would think this would be fine as a cake filling.

    • Sarah says

Did you try using this in between the cakes? I was thinking the same thing and then saw your comment. Just wanted to know if it turned out good!

  6. Cathy says

I’m allergic to Cool whip but I can eat whipped cream, can I substitute it?

  7. Alizae says

Could I substitute the cream cheese with strawberry cream cheese or is that too much?

    • Lisa Longley says

I would have to taste it to know. I think it’s all just a matter of personal taste.

  8. Kathi says

I made this but it doesn’t give the nutritional info for some reason when press the down arrow..I am on weight watchers..love this dip!

    • Lisa Longley says

Yup, sorry about that. A lot of my older recipes don’t have nutritional information and it’s been a slow process to add it. I always recommend My Fitness Pal. It is a free app and a great way to determine nutritional information of food you make at home.

  9. Reesa says

Can I use beet root powder for this to get the pink color instead of the jello mix? Thanks!!

    • Lisa Longley says

The jello mix isn’t really for color it’s for flavor as well, so I wouldn’t recommend that swap.

  10. Molly says

Love the idea. Can this be made ahead of time (day early) or is it better right before serving? Thanks!

    • Lisa Longley says

The day before should be fine.
