This Amaretto Orange Bellini is a super fast cocktail that is going to be your new favorite way to drink champagne! Love this and want even more amaretto? Make my classic Amaretto Sour!

In champagne flukes, the Amaretto Orange Bellini has a maraschino cherry a the bottom of the glass as garnish.

So, as you know, I’m not shy about my love of a good cocktail. {Cough!}  I could stand to be a little more shy. {Cough!}  But I don’t love champagne. I don’t know what it is, maybe too dry? I’m just not sure, it’s not my favorite. Which I don’t feel good about (#drinkerproblems), because so many of my friends, like Dorothy, enjoy a good glass of champagne. And since one of the best things about enjoying a cocktail is when you enjoy it with a friend, I decided I needed to get on board.

Two champagne flukes of the Amaretto Orange Bellini in front of two bottles.

So, I was in the middle of this photo shoot for that cute Champagne Bottle Printable you see in the background (coming soon!) when I decided that I couldn’t let a glass of poured champagne go to waste (#cheapo). So I decided to throw some more alcohol in there (#duh). I tried it with just Amaretto, but it was too bitter. I tried it with some grenadine too, and that wasn’t right either.

And then!

And then I tried it with equal parts Cointreau (an orange liqueur) and Amaretto, and it was perfection! Like a glass of champagne that I didn’t just think was drinkable, I thought I could drink like five of! You guys are going to love it! It’s super fast to throw together, and then you throw a little cherry in the bottom and it makes for a beautiful cocktail!

In a champagne fluke, the Amaretto Orange Bellini has a single maraschino cherry at the bottom and bubbling.

Cheers friends!

    That’s not a bellini. It’s a mimosa. It’s amarosa, and it’s delicious!!!

I love champagne and took to Google to find a way to dress up my drink this evening. This was a wonderful find! The amaretto just hints a little flavor but it’s enough to really class up the drink! This would be perfect for so many events – from a brunch to an evening event. Thank you!
