How to Cook Bacon in the Oven
Baking bacon is not only super simple, but it cuts down on clean up time and results in the most delicious bacon! Here is a brief overview of how to make it. You can find the full recipe and measurements in the recipe card at the bottom of the page.
- Preheat your oven. You want your oven to be hot and ready before you add the bacon.
- Prepare the baking sheets. Line your baking sheets with aluminum foil to help contain the grease and prevent the bacon from sticking. Lay out your bacon slices on the foil-lined baking sheet without overlapping the slices.
- Cook the bacon. Put the bacon in the hot oven, flipping the stips and turning the baking sheet halfway through.
