This Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip is rich, creamy and a snap to make. You’ll want to dip all the things in this luscious party dip!

This Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip is a super easy dip that combines the awesome flavors of cheesecake and cake batter!

This Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip combines the rich flavors of cheesecake and vanilla cake batter into a light, fluffy dip. This recipe gets devoured wherever I bring it. I like serving it with animal crackers. It’s a hit with kids and adults.

Ingredients for Cake Batter Dip

You only need four ingredients and it tastes like you spent hours whipping and mixing rich ingredients together. Find the measurements in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Cool Whip: This is the base of our dip. Read below for a homemade option.
  • Dry White Cake Mix: Plain white cake mix works terrific for this recipe, but you could easily use funfetti if you’re serving it at a birthday party or vanilla cake mix too.
  • Cheesecake Pudding Mix: You can find this right next to all the Jello and pudding mix boxes in your grocery store. Keep in mind that you are using just the dry mix. If you can’t find cheesecake flavor, you can really use another flavor you like, or simply vanilla.
  • Milk: Whatever milk you have on hand will work great for this dip.

  2. Add in the cake mix and milk. Blend until smooth, about two minutes.
  3. Serve and enjoy. Find all of our great options below.

Replacing Cool Whip

If you prefer not to use Cool Whip, you can replace it with my recipe for stabilized whipped cream. It is a great recipe to replace Cool Whip, and so easy to pull together.

Stabilized Whipped Cream

Stabilized Whipped Cream is easy to throw together with just three ingredients. This recipe is perfect for topping cakes, piping, or using as a replacement for Cool Whip!

What to Serve with this Dessert Dip

I show the cake batter dip here with animal crackers but there are endless options for what you can dip! Grab some snacks and get to dipping!

  • Fresh fruit: Green apple slices, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, and bananas would all be great with this dip.
  • Cookies and crackers: In addition to animal crackers, graham crackers, Oreos, ‘Nilla wafters, and pretzels would be great with this.

that dip looks terrific, but your little Quinn just melts my heart :) you guys are seriously the cutest family ever – and I bet she is going to LOVE having a sister to dress up

    • Lisa Longley says

Awww, thanks Heather! It occurred to me the other day that I can buy them matching Christmas dresses next year and the almost non-existent girly side of me reared it’s ugly head :)

  2. Lyuba@willcookforsmiles says

Who needs animal crackers? Just give me a spoon! Yum!

    • Lisa Longley says

      Hahaha! Lyuba, don’t tell anyone . . . but I’ve been mixing a giant spoonful of cake mix with cool whip as a nightly snack . . . #myhusbandthinksimgross #babywantswhatbabywants #ihavenowillpower

This sounds delicious! If I had the stuff to make it, I would be whipping it up as a late night snack! Love the name of your blog by the way! :-)

  6. Cathy@LemonTreeDwelling says

This dip was amazing…thanks for bringing it to the party….and I LOVE Quinn’s princess obsession. Especially because I know how adamantly opposed to princesses Nathan was :)

    • Lisa Longley says

We wouldn’t have missed it! It is so cute to watch Nathan’s disdain for all things pink and princess melt because of his love for Quinny :)

  7. ashley says

OMG I just made this right now for my baby shower, AND IT IS SO GOOD!!! I don’t have a big sweet tooth, but I honestly could eat the whole bowl! The only thing I had to change was the cheesecake jello. They only had the cheesecake no-bake mix, but it tastes I would think, just as good! Thanks for the idea..because it was so easy and so yummy!
