These delicious cheesecake cups are a great no bake dessert recipe. These are so easy to make and have a simple list of ingredients. They are bound to be a hit!
We love no bake treats around here, and these are absolutely delicious! They are so easy to make and your family will absolutely love them.
How to Make Cheesecake Cups
This is a brief overview of how easy this recipe is. For the full recipe with all of the measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Make a crust. Combine crushed Oreos and melted butter, and press them into the bottom of eight small mason jars.
- Make the cheesecake filling. Combine the cream cheese, Cool Whip, vanilla, cake mix, and milk. Gently stir in the sprinkles
- Put together the cups. Divide the filling amongst the eight mason jars. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
- Garnish the cups. Top the cups with whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherries. Serve and enjoy!
Oreo Crust
The simple crust we are making in this recipe is fantastic. It’s just butter and crushed Oreos and works so well. If you can find Birthday Cake Oreos and manage to not eat them all in one sitting, they work fantastic in this recipe. But really golden Oreos work amazing as well.
Variations
- Make them vanilla. If you love the idea of these but don’t want to add cake mix, just leave it out! You can bump up the vanilla extract to 1 to 2 teaspoons.
- Make them chocolate. Swap the cake mix for 1/2 cup cocoa powder.
- Top them with pie filling. Make them plain vanilla as mentioned above, but instead of topping with whipped cream, top them with pie filling like blueberry, cherry, or apple.
Topping Cheesecake Cups with Whipped Cream
Whipped cream is the perfect topping for no bake cheesecakes cups. It is easy to make, and goes so well on top. If you would like it to be piped beautifully and hold its piping, consider making my stabilized whipped cream instead.
Whipped Cream
Storing
These can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days. If planning on storing, leave off the toppings, and use the mason jar lids to seal them. I do not recommend freezing these as the texture of the cream cheese will change in an unfavorable way. As with all recipes, use your best discretion when it comes to leftovers.

These little cheesecake cups look amazing!! I love that your kids are pampering you. That is so sweet! They’re going to love their new little baby, even if there is a little adjusting to do! Enjoy these last couple of weeks!
Alyssa {Cake, Crust, and Sugar Dust} says
Such sweet kids! I’m sure they will be wonderful helpers when the baby comes :) What a brilliant adjustment for a pie that wouldn’t cut neatly! I love it!

What sweet kids you have! And I bet they will pamper both you AND baby in a few weeks :) Also, this dessert is right up my alley–no bake + funfetti. Can’t go wrong :)

Prettiest pictures ever! And that story is so cute. Jordan once laughed when a treadmill hit me in the face and almost knocked me out cold. And she also laughed when I sliced my thumb open and almost fainted from all the blood. So yeah… I can’t relate. ;)

Marcy says
These look so yummy! So, 1 cup of the cake mix (assuming funfetti cake mix) and 1/2 cup funfetti. Can you clarify this for me? What’s the 1/2 cup funfetti? Thanks!
Lisa Longley says
Hi Marcy! So, the funfetti cake mix that I used wasn’t up to my sprinkle standards. So the 1/2 cup funfetti is more sprinkles :)
Justin says
Thank you for saying that, I was going to ask about the mention of cake mix then the mention of funfetti because I was assuming the cake mix flavor was funfetti. Was confused there!
