The Best Yogurt for Yogurt Pops

This recipe calls for vanilla yogurt, but you can use any brand or flavor of yogurt that you like the taste of. We recommend you don’t use low-fat or fat-free yogurt because of the high water content, but any other kind of yogurt would work well in this recipe. Have some fun testing out some different flavors of yogurt!

Fresh or Frozen Berries

Fresh or frozen berries may be used for this recipe. Summer is a great time to use fresh or local berries for your frozen yogurt pops, but if you have frozen berries in your freezer those would work well too. If you use frozen berries, do not thaw them before adding them to the yogurt in the recipe.

You could also try adding other fruits to your yogurt pops for additional flavors and colors. Any fruit that you like the flavor of would taste good frozen in yogurt. Picking different fruits is the perfect way to change up the colors of the yogurt pops for birthday parties or special occasions.

I just made some of these tri-color pops myself, although I pureed the fruit instead, but I love that you put them together in dixie cups and added whole fruit. What a fantastic idea! Thanks for sharing on Showcase Your Talent Thursday.
