Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (if using table salt, start with half)
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a bowl mix together the Brussels sprouts, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes so the sprouts are well coated.
1 pound Brussels sprouts, 1 clove garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Place the Brussels sprouts in the basket of the air fryer. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the sprouts are tender. Check on the sprouts halfway through the cook time to get an estimate of how long they will need. They can go from perfect to overly crisp very quickly. The goal is to get fork tender Brussels with a bit of crispiness on the outside.
  • Remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer, adding more salt and/or pepper if desired after tasting. Then toss with the Parmesan cheese and enjoy.
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
