Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whipped topping store-bought or homemade, see note
  • 6.8 ounces vanilla instant pudding mix two 3.4 ounce boxes, we will just be using the dry powder
  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract optional
  • 1 store-bought graham cracker crust

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine the whipped topping, dry pudding mixes, eggnog, vanilla, and rum extract.
  • Using a hand mixer, mix until smooth. Pour the eggnog mixture into the store-bought pie crust.  There might be some filling left over. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Place in the freezer for 15 minutes right before serving (optional) to achieve nicer, cleaner slices.

Notes

Please note that if you are using store-bought whipped topping, such as Cool Whip, it must be thawed in the refrigerator first. If you are making homemade stabilized whipped cream, you must use gelatin. You cannot simply make whipped cream and use it as a replacement for the Cool Whip.
