Pizza Dip

Pizza Dip is going to be your new favorite appetizer. It is easy to make, can be prepped ahead of time, and it is absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature (227 grams)
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded and divided (169.5 grams)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded and divided
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (if using table salt, start with half, see note)
  • dash freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Please read through the whole recipe before starting.
  • Combine the cream cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, pizza sauce, spices, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Beat together until well combined.  
    8 ounces cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano, 1/2 tablespoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, dash freshly ground black pepper, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Spray a 9 inch shallow pie pan or oven-proof skillet with cooking spray. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the pie pan. Top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, and mini pepperoni.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble and brown. Serve with bagel chips or toasted baguette slices and enjoy!

Notes

I recommend serving this with bagel chips or with a baguette that has been sliced thin and toasted in the oven until light brown. If you are serving this recipe with bagel chips, omit the salt.
