Put the ice cream, green food coloring, and mint extract in a blender. Add about 3/4 cup of milk, and begin blending, adding more milk until you get the desired consistency.
2 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup milk, 1/4 tsp mint extract, 9 -10 drops green food coloring
To serve, pour into two tall glasses (like is shown in the pictures) or pour into four small glasses. Top the shakes with stabilized whipped cream (or whipped cream), sprinkles, and then a cherry.
4 maraschino cherries, stabilized whipped cream, gold or green sprinkles

I always use skim milk with this recipe. But you should feel free to use whatever milk you have on hand. Start by adding 3/4 of a cup and add more until you get the desired consistency.
